Jālandhara Bandha
Technique
• Hold the spine straight
• Bend the neck like a hook, resting the chin against the esophagus.
• Hold the position for a few moments.
• Hold the breathing for a few moments, contracting the muscles of the neck.
• Bring the neck in a straight position.
Recommendations
• In the beginning, execute without holding the breath. After becoming familiarized with the position, hold the breath, but no more than a few moments.
• When bending the neck like a hook, do not bend the back.
• If you can, perform the position while sitting in Lotus.
