Microsoft owns your computer, now wants to read your mind too
Microsoft says that "Human beings are often poor reporters of their own actions."
The solution? They propose to get the data right from your brain by filtering away noise due to blinking, yawning, etc., in the electrical signal collected with sensors placed on you head, or what is traditionally called electroencephalogram.
The company hopes that this technology would enable them to create better human-computer interfaces. Let's hope that they don't get the idea to write back "data" to our brains.
Ummm, wait... maybe they already did?
