New Test for Alzheimer's Disease

Researchers from Stanford University and other institutions claim that they developed a non-invasive test that is 90% accurate in detecting the dreaded disease by using blood samples. The test works by detecting unusual activity in proteins associated with the disease.

While currently there is no cure for Alzheimer's disease, cost of Alzheimer’s and dementia care is estimated at $248 (US) billion worldwide, affecting an estimated 28 million people.
