    3'-5' Exonuclease

Three Prime-Five Prime Exonucleases prefer mismatched 3-prime termini, catalyze nucleoside monophosphate excision from 3-prime DNA termini and may be a DNA polymerase III subunit, which does not have intrinsic exonuclease activity. 3-prime terminal nucleotide excision from DNA is required to generate termini for subsequent DNA metabolic pathways.
