    Acute Graft Versus Host Disease

    A syndrome of immologically mediated tissue damage occurring following allogeneic transplant usually affecting the skin, liver, and gi tract. Onset is usually within one hundred days of transplantation or immunologic manipulation. (NCI Thesaurus)
