    An imidazolidinone-based aldosterone antagonist with potassium-sparing diuretic activity. Azolimine antagonizes aldosterone at the mineralocorticoid receptor in the kidneys, thereby increasing sodium excretion and inhibiting potassium excretion. (NCI Thesaurus)
