    BCR/JAK2 Fusion Gene

    A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(9;22)(p24;q11.2) which fuses the 5' portion of the BCR gene with the 3' part of the JAK2 gene. This rearrangement is associated with myeloproliferative disorder. (NCI Thesaurus)
