    Bronchopulmonary Sequestration

    A rare congenital abnormality of the lungs. It consists of a mass of lung parenchyma that does not communicate with the bronchial tree and receives its blood supply from the systemic circulation instead of the pulmonary circulation. (NCI Thesaurus)
