    BuMel

    An abbreviation for a chemotherapy combination used to prepare patients with high-risk neuroblastoma for a stem cell transplant. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. BuMel includes the drugs busulfan and melphalan hydrochloride. Also called BuMel regimen. (NCI Dictionary)
