    Cancer Care Outcomes Research and Surveillance Consortium

    A funding project supporting research towards measuring the quality of cancer care in the United States. It is to be a five-year project (starting which will support prospective cohort studies on 10,000 patients with newly diagnosed lung or colorectal cancers. The project is designed to increase the knowledge of the relationship between cancer care practices in the general population and patient outcomes including survival and quality of life.
