    CCL17 wt Allele

    Human CCL17 wild-type allele is located within 16q13 and is approximately 11 kb in length. This allele, which encodes small inducible cytokine A17 protein, plays a role in T lymphocyte chemomotaxis; which subsequently affects inflammatory processes in thymic T cell development, and the trafficking and activation of mature T cells.
