    Centromere Protein F

    Centromere protein F (3210 aa, ~368 kDa) is encoded by the human CENPF gene. This protein plays a role in cell cycle progression and is required for both kinetochore formation and chromosome segregation during mitosis. (NCI Thesaurus)
