    Cryopyrin-Associated Periodic Syndrome

    A group of autoinflammatory syndromes caused by mutations in the NLRP3 gene. Signs and symptoms include rash, fever, headache, joint pain, conjunctivitis, and weakness. The symptoms may exacerbate with exposure to cold weather. (NCI Thesaurus)
