    Differentiated Thyroid Gland Carcinoma

    An adenocarcinoma arising from the thyroid gland showing extensive evidence of follicular cell differentiation. According to the nuclear features of the malignant follicular cells, it is classified either as papillary, or follicular carcinoma. (NCI Thesaurus)
