    DNA Nucleotidylexotransferase

DNA nucleotidylexotransferase (509 aa, ~59 kDa) is encoded by the human DNTT gene. This protein plays a role in DNA polymerization and specifically catalyzes the insertion of nucleotides (N regions) at the V(H)-D and D-J(H) junctions of immunoglobulin genes. (NCI Thesaurus)
