    Fetal Valproate Syndrome

    A teratogenic disorder observed in a newborn or child of a mother who was exposed to valproic acid during pregnancy. Manifestations include musculoskeletal abnormalities, intellectual disability, spina bifida, and distinctive facial features. (NCI Thesaurus)
