    German Wirehaired Pointer

    The German Wirehaired Pointer has a coarse, wiry, weather-resistant coat with a thick undercoat. The coat is basically water-repellent and protects it from brambles. The beard, forehead hair and whiskers protect the face. The color is liver and white, spotted, roan or ticked. The pendent ears hang down limply beside the head. Height: 22-26 inches (56-67 cm.)
