    Glanzmann Thrombasthenia

    A rare, autosomal recessive inherited and less frequently acquired platelet disorder. It is characterized by deficient or dysfunctional glycoprotein IIb/IIIa complex. It leads to defective platelet aggregation, resulting in bleeding. (NCI Thesaurus)
