    Great Dane

    The Great Dane is a giant dog with a long narrow head and ears that are either cropped rather long, pointed, and carried erect, or left natural. All Danes have short, thick, close-fitting hair. The color of the coat indicates the variety: fawn, brindle, black, blue, mantle harlequin and sometimes Merle. Height: 28-34 inches (71-86 cm.) Weight: 100-200 pounds (45-90 kg.) (NCI Thesaurus)
