    Hereditary Pancreatitis

    A disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of pancreatitis that start at a young age. It is caused by mutations in the PRSS1 or SPINK1 genes. Patients are at a high risk of developing pancreatic carcinoma. (NCI Thesaurus)
