    Histamine Receptor Binding

    A process that involves the non-covalent binding of histamine to one of four known histamine receptor proteins. These interactions play a role in signaling pathways that modulate vasodilation, neurotransmitter release, gastric acid secretion, neutrophil release and smooth muscle contraction and relaxation.
