    Histiocytic lymphoma

    Pronunciation

An outdated term referring to non-Hodgkin lymphomas made up of large abnormal lymphoid cells. Histiocytic lymphomas include mature B-cell and T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Many tumors that were once called histiocytic lymphomas are now considered to be a type of large cell lymphoma. (NCI Dictionary)
