    HMG-Box

The HMG-Box Domain binds to and bends the minor groove of the DNA. This domain can recognize and bind to altered DNA conformations, such as stem-loops, four-way junctions, and specifically kinked or underwound DNA. (Mol Cell Biol 1999 Aug;19(8):5237-46) (NCI Thesaurus)
