    Inferior Hypogastric Nerve Plexus

    A series of nerves within the pelvis formed mostly by the extension of the hypogastric plexus and branches from the second, third and fourth sacral nerves. In males the inferior hypogastric nerve plexus is located on the sides of the rectum and in the female it is located on both the rectum and vagina. (NCI Thesaurus)
