    KAL1 wt Allele

    Human KAL1 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of Xp22.32 and is approximately 203 kb in length. This allele, which encodes anosmin-1 protein, may be involved in the regulation of both cell adhesion and proteolysis. Mutations in the gene are associated with Kallmann Syndrome 1.
