    Lactobacillus catenaformis

    A species of facultatively anaerobic, Gram positive, rod shaped bacteria in the phylum Firmicutes. This species is homofermentative and catalase negative. L. catenaformis is found in the intestinal and pulmonary cavities. (NCI Thesaurus)
