    Megaloblastic Anemia

    Definition 1

    Anemia characterized by the presence of unusually large erythroblasts in the bone marrow called megaloblasts. It is usually caused by vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency. Other causes include toxins and drugs. (NCI Thesaurus)
