    MLXIPL wt Allele

    Human MLXIPL wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 7q11.23 and is approximately 31 kb in length. This allele, which encodes carbohydrate-responsive element-binding protein, is involved in the regulation of transcription. Deletion of the gene is associated with Williams-Beuren syndrome.
