    Netoglitazone

    An agent belonging to the glitazone class of antidiabetic agents with antihyperglycemic activity. Netoglitazone exerts both peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) alpha and gamma agonist activity. Netoglitazone decreases bone formation and increases marrow adipocyte formation in vivo.
