A fusion protein encoded by the NSD1/NUP98 fusion gene. This protein is comprised of the N-terminus of the Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase, H3 lysine-36 and H4 lysine-20 specific protein, including the nuclear receptor interacting domain, followed by the C-terminus of the nuclear pore complex protein Nup98-Nup96 protein, including the RNA-binding domain.
