    O6-Alkylguanine-DNA Alkyltransferase Inhibitor

    Any substance that inhibits O6-Alkylguanine-DNA alkyltransferase, a DNA repair enzyme that catalyzes the removal of alkyl groups from DNA. Inhibition of O6-Alkylguanine-DNA alkyltransferase increases the effectiveness of DNA alkylating agents. (NCI Thesaurus)
