    Phage Display

    Molecular biology technique that facilitates cloning or identification of specific proteins or peptides with a specific antigenic, ligand or protein-binding, enzymatic, or other biological property. It is based on the cloning of DNA within a phage coat protein gene so that the resulting protein is expressed as a fusion expressed on the surface of the phage. (NCI Thesaurus)
