    Piritrexim Isethionate

    The isethionate salt of piritrexim, a synthetic antifolate agent with antiparasitic, antipsoriatic and antitumor properties. Piritrexim inhibits the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase enzyme, thereby disrupting folate metabolism and DNA synthesis and cell division. (NCI Thesaurus)
