    Pomeranian

    The Pomeranian is a tiny dog with a wedge-shaped head and pointed erect ears. The profuse stand-off double coat includes an abundant ruff around the neck and chest area. The Pomeranians also boast a distinctive feathered tail that fans forward over the back. It may come in any solid color, but the most common are red, orange, white or cream, blue, brown or black. Sometimes the coat is parti-colored (white with colored markings), black and tan, wolf or orange sable. Height: 7-12 inches (18-30 cm.) Weight: 3-7 pounds (1-3 kg.) (NCI Thesaurus)
