    PSIP1 wt Allele

    Human PSIP1 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 9p22.2 and is approximately 47 kb in length. This allele, which encodes 2 alternatively spliced products collectively called PC4 and SFRS1 interacting protein 1 (p75 and p52 respectively), is involved in both transcriptional enhancement and cell survival.
