    Rodorubicin

    A synthetic tetraglycosidic anthracycline antibiotic with antineoplastic activity. Rodorubicin appears to intercalate DNA and causes cell death. Due to its severe cardiotoxic effects, this agent was never marketed. (NCI Thesaurus)
