    Roseolovirus

    Definition 1

    A genus of enveloped, spherical or pleomorphic viruses with a capsid that is surrounded by an amorphous tegument, in the family Herpesviridae. The genome is composed of monopartite, linear double-stranded DNA. Roseoloviruses are found in humans and cause Roseola in humans. (NCI Thesaurus)
