    Sarcomatoid Mesothelioma

    A diffuse malignant mesothelioma arising from the pleura and less often the peritoneum. It is characterized by the presence of spindle cells. Anaplastic morphologic features and multinucleated malignant cells may also be seen. (NCI Thesaurus)
