    Senile Corneal Change

    Degenerative changes of the cornea related to aging that are highly influenced by changes in the corneal endothelium. Changes include corneal topography, increased density, decreased hydration of the corneal stroma, and epithelial basement membrane dystrophy; The stroma appears hazier than in younger eyes and reduces light transmission.
