    Sinefungin

    A natural nucleoside related to S-adenosylmethionine that has been isolated from Streptomyces species with antifungal, antiviral and antiparasitic activity. Sinefungin inhibits DNA methyltransferase which leads to an inhibition of DNA synthesis. (NCI Thesaurus)
