    Sleep Terror Disorder

    A sleep disorder characterized by abrupt awakenings from sleep with a panicky scream, accompanied by signs of autonomic arousal. There is no recall of a nightmare and the person has amnesia for the event in the morning. (NCI Thesaurus)
