    Spectinomycin Hydrochloride

    The hydrochloride salt form of spectinomycin, an aminocyclitol antibiotic derived from Streptomyces spectabilis with antibacterial property. Spectinomycin hydrochloride binds to the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit, thereby inhibiting peptide elongation and protein synthesis, consequently leading to bacterial cell death.
