    Zonal Necrosis

    A morphologic finding referring to the presence of necrosis that is confined to a specific anatomic zone. Representative example is the hepatic zonal necrosis that affects the hepatic parenchyma either in the portal areas or around the hepatic veins. (NCI Thesaurus)
