    Electroanalgesia

    Application of electrical stimulation to the spinal cord, deep brain, peripheral nerves, and Chinese acupoints in an effort to relieve pain. It is often used in place of or to augment the effectiveness of analgesics. There are many different types of electroanalgesia with varying levels of effectiveness and invasiveness.
