    Glisindamide

A second-generation sulfonylurea with antihyperglycemic activity. Like other second-generation compounds, glisindamide exerts greater binding affinity to sulfonylurea receptor type 1 (SUR1) than the first-generation compounds and shows peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARgamma) agonistic activity.
