    Gordonia rubripertincta

    Definition 1

    A species of aerobic, Gram positive, coryneform bacteria assigned to the phylum Actinobacteria. This species is catalase positive, slightly acid fast, nonmotile and produces mycobactin. G. rubripertincta is an opportunistic pathogen, causing infection at sites of catheterization. (NCI Thesaurus)
