    I 123 Monoclonal Antibody 81C6

A radioimmunoconjugate of a IgG2 monoclonal antibody (MoAb) 81C6 labeled with iodine 123 (I-123). MoAb 81C6 recognizes the extracellular matrix antigen tenascin (hexabrachion), which is up-regulated in gliomas and other cancers. Using MoAb 81C6 as a carrier for I-123 allows detection of tumor localization and distribution of MoAb 81C6 in diagnostic imaging procedures. (NCI Thesaurus)
