    IRAK1 wt Allele

    Human IRAK1 wild-type allele is located within Xq28 and is approximately 9 kb in length. This allele, which encodes interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 1 protein, is involved both in interleukin-1-induced up-regulation of the transcription factor NF-kappa B and in regulation of responsiveness to bacterial endotoxins.
