    Large B-Cell Lymphoma Arising in Human Herpes Virus 8-Associated Multicentric Castleman Disease

    An aggressive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma occurring in patients with multicentric type Castleman disease. It is characterized by the presence of human herpes virus 8-infected large B-lymphocytes that resemble plasmablasts. It is usually seen in patients with HIV infection. (NCI Thesaurus)
