    Male Breast Carcinoma

    Definition 1

    A rare malignant tumor of the breast, affecting mostly older men. It accounts for less than 1% of all malignancies in men. The most common histologic type is invasive ductal carcinoma. Most patients are treated with mastectomy. -- 2004 (NCI Thesaurus)
